Smart Production Platform

The Smart Production Platform is an intelligent industrial monitoring system designed to digitalize and optimize production within a jeans manufacturing environment. It combines IoT, artificial intelligence, real-time communication and production analytics to automate data collection and improve operational efficiency.

Workers authenticate with RFID badges before interacting with the production line. Manufactured items are automatically analyzed by connected cameras that identify quality defects using computer vision models, and the data flows to a centralized platform giving managers real-time visibility.

The distributed IoT architecture integrates ESP32 devices and Raspberry Pi edge nodes (MQTT protocol) to collect and process production events, while WebSockets keep the dashboard synchronized in real time.

Computer vision relies on Python and YOLO object detection models. Metrics such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and operator productivity are continuously computed in intelligent dashboards.
